Why are flamingos pink

Flamingos are pink because they eat alot of blue-green algae. Flamingos also eat shrimp. Flamingos are named for their bright color.  Flamingos are monogamous. Flamingos only lay one egg per year on a mound of dirt. Flamingos eat with their heads upside down.
