The World’s tallest Thermometer is in Baker California. It stands 134 feet in height. The landmark is in a town that calls itself “The Gateway to Death Valley”. The giant thermometer regularly records temperatures in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. The highest temperature ever recorded in the United States was 134 degrees in Death Valley in 1913.
