   That is not true. I saw some guys try it, but it didn’t work.

   It only works if its a strong liquor, above 90 proof, everclear for example. the only reason the scorpion “goes mad and stings itself” is because the liquor gets under their exoskeleton and burns their flesh so it reacts as if something is attacking it and it thinks its on it back cause that is where the pain is coming from, so animal logic says fight it off… hence it kills itself trying to protect itself.

   Actually, the scorpions of the same family have resistants to their own venom. However, scorpions are sensitive to heat and easily die from over exposure.
